Once there lived a crow in a village who was unhappy. He had many friends but they all looked the same. “We all are black in colour and look the same !!”. He wanted to be different and thought he can look more colourful and beautiful like other birds. “They look so happy, being colourful”, he always thought looking at other birds at houses around the village.

One day he decided to find out the secret of their happiness. He went to the parrot at a house and shared his thoughts. He asked for advice on how he can be colourful like him.” I envy you!”, said the parrot The crow did not get the answer to his query and left from there

He next went to another bird, Canary at yet another house in the village. The crow was mesmerized seeing the red, yellow combination of colours the canary had.”Now I envy you”, said the crow to the canary. “you are so much fortunate to be beautiful!”, the crow appreciated its beauty. But the canary replied “Of course, we are fortunate to be given proper housing and care, but what I feel is you are the luckiest bird ever here, who has been never caged in life. We stay caged because of our beauty. You are always free to fly in the open sky.”, the canary cried his heart out.

After listening to this, crow realized what is precious in life, to be not caged, to be happy for what they have got.
He thanked God for making him as he is and he flew away happily.

Moral of the story:

Life is like a camera. Focus on what’s important. Capture the good times.

Happiness is having feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment and being positive.
