The day before the submission of our final project, we were at our school library. Completing our assignments I took her folder to copy down the next part which she had already finished. Jinn was my project partner. I opened the first page of the folder, her name and grade was written. I turned to the next page, it was blank. I wondered why she has not written her part of our assignment. I turned the other pages in disappointment but there it was! “Why have you left this page blank?”, I asked Jinn. “I just feel to keep it blank”, she replied.

Time skipped and we were almost at the end of our academic year. Due to stress of studies and completing notes and projects, having scored less in a few subjects I started getting panicked.” Why are you taking so much stress Yoonji? Tell me what is it that worries you. We will work over it so now don’t panic”, Jinn assured me.I covered my face with my palms to relax my eyes.

While going through all my notes, Jinn asked me for a Computer assignment, which I had forgotten to get it. “I have left it on my table at home !!”, I said almost in tears. She took her Computer assignment folder. Opened it, tore the first page. “Why are you tearing it??”, I asked.

Not replying to anything, she started writing my name on the blank page.”What are you doing?”, I asked again.”Be quiet”, she sushed me. “Give this to the computer instructor before going home today. It is the last day to submit”, she held it. I hesitated but she grabbed my wrist and placed the folder in my hand. “Don’t worry, I will write it again, within minutes now”, and gathered the rest of my books and assignments to check if all are up-to-date.

“When will you write it?”, I asked worriedly. “Before going home.”, she said looking at me with a smile. I felt she came into my life as an angel. She takes up all my worries and solves them with so much ease that I feel the problem was never there in the first place. And I was unnecessarily taking stress about it.” I will submit it tomorrow then”, I said to calm me down. Jinn had no reaction and held a calm face.
