However, she always regretted having yellow wings and would complain to her mother about her unusual appearance. Her mother always comforted her saying she was special.

The next day, on the way to school, nobody greeted her, nor did they stop to talk to her. At school, none of her friends said ‘Hello’. She sat alone.
Nobody appreciated her red wings. No one even recognized her until their teacher spotted the newly painted bright red Wings.
All of her classmates were shocked. They said, “your wings are special!”, “so unique”, “so rare”. Hearing which the ladybug felt happy. But she soon realized that these were all incomplete sentences as they all concluded saying, “….then why did you change its color!!??”.
The teacher explained, “Your unusual wings are what make you ‘YOU’. Everyone loves you for who you are and not for how you look! “. These words made her realize how truly loving all are around her.
She reached home and immediately took a shower, scrubbed until her wings gleamed bright and golden yellow.
Moral of the story: Do not change yourself for anyone. People love you for who you are not for how you look.
