Googie was a very smart and intelligent boy. He was studying in grade 2.
One day, his father took Googie to the house of a rich and powerful friend of his. Googie’s father told his friend, “My son is a prodigy. I could never ask for a son more intelligent than him. He has an answer for everything.”
The friend was a snob and considered himself to be the most intelligent person in the world.
Glancing at Googie, he said, “He does not seem to be as intelligent. In any case, the more intelligent a boy is the duffer he becomes as a man.”
At this, Googie innocently said, “If this is true then, as a boy you must have been even more intelligent than I am.”
Moral Of The Story: Words can inspire and words can destroy, so choose properly.
Description:
Silence is the best answer when your words are not valued. The tongue has no bone but is strong enough to hurt anybody’s feelings. Be careful with your words. Words can inspire and words can destroy. So choose properly.
