Once upon a time, there was a pot that was round in shape and a pan that was flat in shape. They both were the best of friends.
One day, they had a competition to find out who was more useful.
The pot said to the pan, “You are tough and strong but you are so black, no matter how much someone washes you, you will always stay black.” The pot made the fun of pan’s dark color.
The pan gave an awesome reply to him. The pan said to the pot,, “Though I am black in color, I am so strong whether you hit me or I hit you, you are the one who will break.”
They were so much involved in competing each other that both started arguing related to who is strongest. The material used, the shape each was made of was different. They forgot that both were equally important.
Hearing their argument, a tea spoon lying beside them said “The high sides of pot allow heat to spread evenly all around the liquid, so that liquid can be heated evenly rather than just from the bottom. The wide base and shallow sides of pan allow a thinner layer of food to cook quickly and evenly.”
So both are equally important to complete preparing a meal. Both are equally important for the role they play.
Moral of the story:Though you are different from one another, each one has their own importance.Never underestimate others.
When someone underestimates you, they are giving you an opportunity to you to think about yourself, to think about your strengths and bring forth the same. You will realize that you are capable of more than you can ever imagine. Use their underestimation of you as a motivation. If someone is underestimating you, try to ignore and just focus on mastering the task you are working on.
