“You will get late for school”, his mother was waking him for the fifth time.

“Here..!”,his father applied toothpaste on his toothbrush.

“Brush your teeth”, his fatehr handed him his toothbrush when he left from the bathroom.

Joon was still in sleepy mood and unable to even open his eyes.

“Come out now !”, his sister Min waiting for him to come out of the bathroom from past 15 minutes.

“You can continue your bath after school. Now come out and get ready!”, she yelled for the last time and went downstairs to have breakfast.

“Here is your lunch box”, Joon’s mother told Min as she gave the lunchbox toher.

“And this is your’s_”, saying so she kept the lunch box in Joon’s school bag. Joon continued biting and niblling his last bites of breakfast.

“Appa , drive fast. Otherwise we will get late for school today too”, Min said to her father as they sat in their car.

“Study well”, their mother said waving her hand to both of them as they drove.

After a long day at school, Joon and Min returned home. Min got fresh and came down for milk but Joon was still lying on the sofa with his one leg dangling down and another over the cushion.

“Still haven’t changed?”, Min asked in a raisedvoice.

“Wait naa..”,Joon scoffed.

Glaring at him, Min headed towards kitchen where their mother was pouring milk in their glasses.

“Don’t give him milk yet”, she looked upset.

“He’ll be hungry”, his mother said coldly.

“Daily?”, Min was shocked by her mother’s reaction.

“He is still small”, he rmother defended for Joon.

“12 years old eomma!”, Min was in a bad temper today.

“He still does not even brush his teeth by himself!” When will he learn?”, Min sounded concerned though. But her mother cut off her words and walked out of the kitchen towards the dining area and placed the tray on the dining table.

“Have milk both of you”, she said taking her cup of tea from the tray and taking a sip while browsing through the newspaper.

“There is a sale going on”, said eomma lazily. As she lift her eyes to look at Min, she was already looking back. Eomma raised her eyebrows in gesture of asking,”What happened?”

“He did not wash his hands before eating biscuits”, Min replied.
